The Next Generation SAS-Based iSCSI Storage Arrays.
The Variel Trillium EX™ series combines the high-performance iSCSI and the scalable SAS architecture, along with support for RAID 6 to deliver a robust iSCSI IP SAN solution for greater data protection and expandability.
These comprehensive and cost-effective storage systems can accommodate both low cost, high capacity serial ATA (SATA) and high-performance serial-attached SCSI (SAS) hard drives without sacrificing reliability or data availability.
With advanced features normally found in enterprise-class storage systems such as Auto-Provisioning, multiple RAID levels, Application-Consistent Snapshots, support for Microsoft Windows VSS, VDS and MPIO, and the ability to manage both Direct Attached Storage (DAS) and IP Storage Area Networks (IP SANs) via a single management console to simplify DAS to SAN migration, position the Variel Trillium EX™ series as an ideal storage platform for business critical applications.
These advanced enterprise-level features are included standard in the Trillium EX™ series, significantly reducing the complexity, deployment, and TCO of implementing an IP SAN solution.
